Fines for Failing to Comply

From the 1st of July in 2021, once a new, renewed or varied contract is signed on a Breaker Bay rental property, all Healthy Homes compliance tasks must be finished within 90 days.

Tenancies that were signed between 1 July 2019 and the 30th June in 2021

  • Ceiling and underfloor insulation is a requirement throughout Breaker Bay and New Zealand rental houses where it’s reasonably practicable to install.
